Department of Economic Security

Ms. Mackey earned a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Diego State University and holds a Certification in Rehabilitation Counseling.  Ms. Mackey has worked in a variety of rehabilitation settings providing direct client services and managing aspects of programs that serve individuals with disabilities.  Ms. Mackey began her career with the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) at the Department of Economic Security (DES) as a vocational rehabilitation counselor in 2007.  Ms. Mackey worked in the policy unit for several years prior to moving into the role of Administrator for RSA programs.
